Flashing Stock ROM with SP Tools in case of a Brick Bootloopon your XOLO MTK
Requirements:-
-SP TOOLS v5.1352.01 (DOWNLOAD HERE)
-STOCK ROM ForYour Device (DOWNLOAD HERE)
-MTK USB Drivers (HERE)
-A PC with Windows 7 or Later
-The Bricked Mediatek Device with a USB Cable
-Patience
Instructions:
-Download and Extract the Stock ROM you Downloaded Above(make sure it�s for your device Exactly)
Download and Install the MTK USB Drivers from Above
On some PCs it might not install easily So, here�s the workaround
- 1st Extract the Driver Zip
- On your PC right click on Computer > Properties and on the left side click on device manager
- Switch off your phone and connect it to your PC, In Device Manager You�ll find MT65xx Preloader
- Right Click on it and select Update Driver Software� Select Browse my computer for driver software
- Now Click on Browse button and browse to the Directory where you extracted the Driver Zip and make sure that Include Subfolders is checked
- On Pressing OK it should Install Drivers and on Completion it should show this
-Now Flashing the ROM
- Extract the SP TOOLs zip and Run Flash_tool.exe from it
- In the SP TOOLs Window Select Scatter Loading and Select MT65xx_Android_scatter.txt Found in the Stock ROM folder you Just Extracted
- Now Make sure that Each and every box is checked and respective image is loaded
- Now Press On Download button with the green arrow on top and connect your phone in switched off state
- The Process will start and you�ll find the statusbar at the bottom changing colors RED to Yellow
- When Done You�ll find a Download OK box popping up
- Now Disconnect your Phone and Power it Up!!!!
